What is the Default Upload & Wash Requirement field and how does it relate to event reconciliation?

Please note, this article only applies if you are using night by night reconciliation and not reservation by reservation. This feature is NOT a part of reservation by reservation reconciliation functionality.

While your hotel partners are filling out their post event pickup reports, the application will now analyze the wash percentage. If the wash percentage exceeds a certain value, the hotel user will be required to submit a copy of the pickup from their system.

In order to configure this, a setting has been added at the company, event, and event hotel levels.

  • On your company settings in the feature settings section, you can set what this value will default to for your new events.
  • On your event settings, you can set what this value will default to for your event hotels.
  • On your event hotel property policies settings, you can set the value that will be used for the pickup report for that particular hotel.

With the settings shown above, hotel partners would be required to upload a copy of their pickup if their wash percentage was greater than 10%. If you would like to always require that a hotel partner submit a rooming list, you can set this to 0%.

To retrieve any documents uploaded from a hotel partner, navigate to the newly added Documents tab on your pickup reports/invoices. From here you can download rooming lists provided from the hotel as well as upload any documents you need to store with the pickup report/invoice.
