The Live Booking feature enables EventPipe users to enhance their revenue streams by providing access to non-contracted hotel options. Here are some key advantages of utilizing the Live Booking solution:

You can now effectively generate revenue in the following situations by switching to a Live Booking site:

1. If all your contracted hotels are fully booked or unavailable, you can easily switch to the live booking site to accommodate your attendees.

2. In cases where you prefer not to use contracted hotels—such as when an event is approaching quickly, is too small, or presents a significant operational challenge—you can set up a standalone booking site in just a few minutes.

How can I generate revenue using this feature?

Reservations made through Live Booking are eligible for commission, allowing you to earn a share of the revenue from each booking made.

Is it possible to apply extra, customized fees during the checkout process?

Yes, you have the ability to impose additional charges, such as a fee for each reservation or per room night, which will be processed directly through your Stripe account.

Where does the inventory on the Live Booking site originate from?

The booking site features inventory sourced from Expedia, available at discounted rates to guarantee that your attendees and guests receive the most competitive pricing possible.

Will I be able to see these reservations in the standard EventPipe portal?

Absolutely! You will be able to view the reservations on the event's Reservation list and generate relevant reports using PipeSights as we enhance this tool further.

Will I need to handle customer service for Live Booking reservations?
