# EventPipe System Generated Emails

## How do I view EventPipe's system-generated email templates?

EventPipe automatically sends emails to guests, hotel partners, group block owners, and housing company staff at key moments, such as when a reservation is booked, a contract is executed, or a pick-up report is due. Each link below opens a Google Doc for one email template. The doc shows an example of the email filled in with sample data, followed by the raw template text that EventPipe uses to build it.

**Want to see exactly what EventPipe sends and when? Here's how!**

**1.** Click the name of an email template in the list below to open it in Google Docs.

**2.** Review the "Example email (filled in)" section to see how the email reads when it is sent.

TIP: Names, hotel details, dates, and ID numbers in the examples are sample data only.

**3.** Scroll to the "Raw template" section to see the original template text.

TIP: Text that starts with "$" is filled in automatically by EventPipe, and text between "#if" and "#end" only appears when that condition applies.

**Need to change the wording of an email?**

Email template wording is set company-wide, so any change will apply to every event that uses that email. To request a change, submit a ticket to [support@eventpipe.com](mailto:support@eventpipe.com) with the name of the email and the wording you would like to use.
