Getting Started!

What is the event producer portal?

Everything you need to know about the EventPipe Event Producer Portal!

EventPipe users have the ability to send invitations to users from Event Companies, allowing them to monitor the progress of their events and access additional information within the EventPipe Event Producer Portal.

To gain access to the portal, you must first receive an invitation from the organization overseeing your event. Upon receiving the invitation, you will be prompted to create a password. Once your password is established, Event Company users can effortlessly log in anytime at app.eventpipe.com.

Check out the video below for a guided tour of the portal!

Diving into the Event Producer Portal!

After selecting an event company, you will see all the events associated with that given event company in the EventPipe system. You can see both upcoming and past events and their corresponding metrics.

To dive in, select an event. Once you select an event, you can view three main tabs - Hotels, Group Blocks, Reservations.

On the Hotels tab you can see the contracted hotels that appear on the booking site for the event. For each hotel, you can see:

  • Comp Room Nights Available - if there is a comp ratio contracted, this shows an estimate of the comp rooms earned. Please note, application of comps is based on your agreement with the company managing your event. The number shown in your portal is only an estimate and can change at any time.
  • Room Nights Contracted - how many room nights contracted at that property
  • Room Nights Booked - how many room nights currently reserved by guests
  • Room Nights Held - how many room nights currently in group blocks
  • Pickup % - how much of the contracted inventory is currently reserved

On the Groups tab, you will see all the group blocks for the event, both open and closed, along with metric surrounding the number of group blocks overall, the number of room nights held in group blocks, the number of room nights booked in group blocks, and the percent of inventory held in group blocks that is picked up.

On the Reservations tab, you will see all reservations made for the event. You can't make any changed, but you can export this data out.
