How do I handle changes to reservations that I've already assigned a confirmation to?
Handling changes in EventPipe is very simple and can be managed via your hotel portal. The hotel portal serves as a centralized hub where you can effortlessly monitor and adjust your reservations.
By utilizing the portal, you can efficiently make necessary modifications, ensuring that your guests' needs are met promptly and accurately. Whether it’s updating payment details, changing room types, or adjusting reservation dates, the hotel portal provides all the tools you need to manage these changes effectively.
Please note, you will receive an email ONCE a day surrounding if you have any reservations with pending changes. You will not receive an alert for every change with specific details of the change, so it is important to log in to your portal.
STEP BY STEP:
1. Once logged into your hotel portal, locate the event you want to view then click Manage Reservations.
2. To review pending changes, navigate to the pending changes tab. Changes can include updated payment information, changes in room types, changes in dates, additional guests, primary guest changes, and more.
3. The best way to manage your changes is to click "Download Changes Report" to review the reservations that need to be update. You need to export this report to see ALL reservation details.
The Updated Fields will call attention to fields that have been changes. You can see when a reservation was last modified by reviewing Column G. Please always doublecheck the guest names, the room types, the dates of stay.
4. Review all changes, make the change in your internal system, then click Confirm Change on the Pending Changes tab.
5. Once you confirm and if you have a confirmation entered, it will moved to the processed tab. It will remain on that tab unless the guest cancels or makes another change.
